About Us

Our Mission

Asian American Athletic Alliance (AAAA) is dedicated to 
uniting diverse Asian and Asian American athletes’ communities 
with the purpose of fostering support and standing united ​
​against discrimination and violence.

Our Vision

Asian American athletes in the U.S. have equitable representation, visibility, and access to sports programs that enrich their lives. We hope to create belonging and connection where members are supported, embraced and empowered.

Our Goal

    We aim to build a network of support among Asian/Asian American athletes to help them reach their highest potential in sport and in life. We believe in the power of athletics to foster essential life skills from a young age, and that all children–regardless of race, gender, class, and ability–have the right to a positive and enriching athletic experience.
    Through one-on-one mentorship, various ongoing speaker series, a peer-to-peer ‘pen pal’ program to connect athletes across town and state lines, and other similar initiatives, we aim to help Asian/Asian American athletes: (1) navigate the complex college recruiting process, (2) develop strong time-management skills to balance their academic, athletic, and extracurricular commitments without sacrificing mental or physical health, (3) build meaningful relationships with other Asian American athletes in their schools, towns, and states to combat feelings of isolation, (4) transition back to a healthy training and wellness routine post-pandemic, and, most of all, (5) foster a community that turns into a self-sustaining support system that ultimately makes athletics a space in which Asian-Americans feel they belong.
    We also hope to take the lead on research initiatives to increase knowledge and awareness of the realities of the Asian American experience, both on the field and off. We stand against discrimination and violence in all forms, and hope to use our platform to both shed light on the injustices faced by Asian-Americans and also to celebrate all the wonderful things Asian-Americans are doing every day.
